Vårdlänken Staffing & Recruitment is now looking for an experienced Social Worker with experience in financial assistance – intake for an exciting consulting assignment.

Assignment period: Immediate start, initially until autumn

Scope: 100%

Location: Fully on-site at the client's premises (remote work is not possible)

Responsibilities

As a consultant, you will work at the Intake Unit within financial assistance and be responsible for providing support and service to individuals applying for financial assistance.

The tasks include, among other things:

• Process new visits and applications for financial assistance in accordance with the Social Services Act.
• Conduct investigations, assessments, and make decisions in accordance with current legislation, legal practice, and the municipality's guidelines.
• Inform clients about their rights, obligations, and current interventions.
• Document investigations, assessments, and decisions in accordance with current documentation requirements.
• Draw up individual plans and refer clients to the Employment Center.
• Handle urgent applications for financial assistance and make expedited assessments.
• Conduct affiliation investigations.

We are looking for someone who

• Is educated as a social worker.
• Has 3–5 years of experience in processing financial assistance cases, preferably from intake operations.
• Has good experience with affiliation investigations.
• Works independently and has good ability to prioritize and make legally secure decisions.
• Is accustomed to handling both new applications and a large influx of cases in an efficient manner.
• Has good digital competence and experience in processing both digital and paper-based applications.
